Visit a secret, woodland apothecary in the hills of Vermont to kick off the season of the witch at the first ever Witches Market at Briar Stone Apothecary!
This harvest inspired open house will be a witchy, sensory experience from the moment you enter the cottage apothecary! The cauldron will be bubbling, herbs will be hanging from the rafters and the apothecary shelves will be stocked with the abundance of the years harvest!
Come by anytime on Saturday 10/3 or Sunday 10/4 from 11-5 either day to shop and enjoy the festivities!

Browse the full Bohéme Botanika product line along with lovingly curated gifts, antique treasures, ritual items, potions, apothecary supplies, dried herbs, tea ware, nature inspired home decor, soaps, candles and more!
Herbal Potion and Elixir Bar:
Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble…Sip on a botanical mocktail, spiced cider or herbal tea from the elixir bar as you browse!
Tarot Card Readings
Receive a mini tarot card reading in the herb drying room from talented local reader and intuitive, Celeste Simone, for gentle guidance and honest insights. Celeste will be here both Saturday and Sunday between offering first come first served readings from 12-4pm. $20 for 20 min
Botanical Broom Crafting Station
Craft a decorative witches’ broom (a besom) from wild foraged and garden grown dried botanicals to bring home! Learn the mystical folklore of this ancient witchy symbol! $20 materials fee per broom.
*If you plan to make a craft during your visit, we strongly encourage you to sign up ahead of time to ensure there are enough supplies. Just add the number of brooms to your cart below, checkout, then come by on 10/3 or 10/4 between 11-5pm to create! Just give your name at the door and we will have your supplies ready! Self guided craft stations are for adults or older children being helped by a parent or guardian! Not suitable for younger children. No refunds available on craft registration so please show up to make your craft during the specified hours!
If you do not plan to make a craft you do not need to register for this event! Just come by during our open hours to shop and enjoy the festivities!
Visit the apothecary for our Witches Market weekend open house on October 3rd or 4th from 11-5pm and make your own botanical witches broom to take home!
To ensure that there are enough supplies for all attendees, please pre-register if you would like to make any herbal crafts while visiting.
This craft will be self guided allowing you to create at your leisure during your visit to the apothecary. Read about the mystical folklore associated with a withces broom (or a besom) and then follow the step by step instructions to craft your own hand held broom decoration to take home! Each broom will be made using wild foraged and garden grown dried herbs and botanicals. All materials will be provided. Craft will take between 15-20 minutes to complete.
This craft is geared towards adults and older children. Children should not be left unattended and should have a parent or guardian supervising and helping with the craft this entire time. This craft is not suitable for younger children.
To register for crafts for yourself and your party, simply choose the type and quantity of crafts you would like below and add them to your cart. When preregistering each attendee may make up to 5 crafts! Then just checkout! When you arrive at the open house simply check in with your first and last name.
Notes: Children are welcome to craft with direct supervision of their parent or guardian. There may be an option to make crafts without pre-registering but it is dependent on supplies. The best way to ensure that you get to craft is to pre-register here. Because supplies will be ordered in advance, there are no refunds available for these crafts so when registering, please ensure that you will be able to attend at least one of the days of the open house to make and take your crafts!
